Foto Friday: Tuesday Evening Trek Part II

I suppose I should have labeled the first post as Part I but…I neglected. Oh, well… All photos are my personal collection except the very last one. ~Vic

Opposite angle of that big tree.

Setting sun.
Another flower group.
Bizarre rock pile beyond that.
Tuesday Trek Image Four
There are so many trails that run along the Eno.
So many lovely views…
Tuesday Trek Image Five
I can almost feel the sun’s warmth from this shot.
Tuesday Trek Image Six
Odd porcupine-looking tree formation.

What’s left of the old Eno River Pumping Station.

You can see the rock formation I had to climb over on the right.
All that’s left is the base.

Love the old pumping station Victoria. So is the pumping station next to the waterfall in the postcard? The smaller of the two buildings?

Yep. That’s it. You can still see the remnants of the rock wall jutting out from the foundation that created the dam/overflow.

It’s pretty cool. Love finding the old stuff in the area. There was a lot of activity around the river.

I like seeing before and after. In some ways it’s sad… in other ways I appreciate the history

The porcupine tree looks cool, but my ultimate favorite is the first photo of the river (pic. no. 4). So serene.
It looks like spring is here?!

Heh. It can be serene. It can be scary, too. I live across the street from a section of it. It will flood like hell. The whole neighborhood had a minus 10 pucker factor during Hurricane Matthew in 2016.

A good, long rain will cover up & muddy the Riverwalk.

      Glad you liked. ❤
