Snapshots Sunday: Buddy 2.0

Posted on Updated on

Buddy came to me (and an ex) as a little thing. He had been born under a home 75 miles east and his mother had to leave him behind. The guy living there heard the crying mews and went to investigate. He found tiny Buddy in an upright cinder block, pulled him out and realized he was a newborn with his eyes still closed. He sought help from a veterinarian and began to feed him. Fast forward five weeks and the guy contacts my ex. “You want a kitten? I can’t handle him, anymore.” He shows up with this gi-normous litter box with a cover, that little Buddy could barely jump in and out of, a box of various toys and a gallon container of kitten food. The guy lived alone and traveled a lot so, he felt Buddy would be better off with us. I had lost my very first cat six months prior so, Buddy’s arrival was cause for celebration. He was my baby for nine years. (1997-2006). All photos are my personal collection. ~Vic

Sweet shots, Vic! Pets are very much a part of a family when loved. 🙂 So sorry for your loss…..how wonderful to relive his life through memories and photos!

He was the youngest I had ever tended to @ five weeks. Jeff, the guy who found him, did all the work. He bottle fed him, taught him how to use a litterbox & clean himself. This poor cat never saw his own mother. He was a people-cat, for sure. Just a baby…❤

Thanks! I still miss him. I’ve missed all of my cats that have passed on.

I still miss our dogs…..I grew up with a dachshund who was so cool and we had a black lab for almost 15 years, lost him seven years ago. He was my big baby…. 🙂

You never forget when you first get them…It’s one of the happiest and later on sad memory.

Yeah. Their shorter life spans… They become family and it is hard to lose them.

I take solace in the fact that all animals (all flora & fauna) belong to Mother Earth. Perhaps, one day, they may evolve to have longer life spans or evolve in other ways. It just depends on her. ❤🌎

They do mean so much to us. Some people without pets dont’ get it. We all were thinking about Molly a month or more after she passed…I still think I see her every once in a while.

Animal souls are group souls. As they spend time with humans, they become more individual, developing their own personalities. When they pass, they carry their individuality with them for a time. But, returning to the group soul, they eventually lose the individuality. That’s why I’d like to see them evolve and retain a soul personality.

Many people have talked about visitations from deceased pets. The more individual the pet, the more that soul may seek out past family.

It’s like the corner of the eye thing. I could swear she was there. I wish she would come back teach Miss Martha a thing or two.

Molly could, indeed, be around to assist. Even pets in the same household will grieve the loss of another pet or the loss of a human. Molly could very well have missed her family and could return for assistance. Chris Thomas stopped writing in 2013 & lost his connection to the Akashic (he was attacked). My group doesn’t really know how much Earth may have evolved the life she supports.

I would like to believe she is there. I do remember Molly barking at nothing several times and I would think it was the one before her.

They are very aware of what is going on. Storms and other things…disasters…if someone is sick.

Our first one Snoops (we didnt’ name her) was a big girl at 175lbs of pure muscle. She would bark at everyone but my mom…My mom had dementia and she would sit her butt on mom’s knee when mom was sitting on the couch…never barked at her at all…and stayed with her.

They are highly intelligent critters. There are some psychics that can communicate with them.

Animal behavior has been changing in recent years. The main reason we put ourselves into the Human Plan was because we wanted to find out why we were losing our higher abilities. Once we found the answer (Earth’s frequency was too low), Earth raised her frequency and it affected all of her flora & fauna. Animals, today, have more soul energy & higher frequencies than prior to 2000.

Molly could have sensed the prior one. It may have returned to assist her.

Animals know more about weather & disasters than we do. They are part of Earth’s consciousness. When the tsunami hit Phuket Sound, the animals started leaving in advance. They know.

My buddy Ray’s Husky was trained to help with diabetes. He can smell it, I guess.

How long ago did your mom pass?

                    They are very intellegent.
My dad in Aug 2005 and mom in Feb 2006…6 months apart. They had been divorced for years. It was not a fun time. What a bad span…Jen had a miscarriage in Jan 2006 and I got laid off in May of 2006…it finally ended after that.

And, THIS one didn’t show up in my panel.

WOW. Nearly a year of absolute hell. At least you had your sister to lean on?

I hurt to read that last photo. I’m glad you and he were together for so long. He looks like our Mindy Cat. Fur Babies are heaven’s gifts to us.

A couple of days ago, I read about your Sammy Sam & Fuzzy. Both passed before I found your blog. Just sad.

You’ve been blogging longer than I have. I shut down my first blog.

I’ve had two kittens raised up and two rescues. Clark was from across the street. He decided he liked us better for about six months. The couple split and Clark was given to another couple with a farm. He wasn’t mine but, I know he is loved. The husband didn’t like him for some reason.

      I miss all of mine.

I so understand. It’s terrible to loose our fur children, they adore us, that is the only real adoration we really experience. Our families love us but our fur babies adore us. Hugs to Vic. I am going in for a cat scan Thursday for my tooth…it’s still not healing. They have to figure out the real issue and then proceed. It’s been a mess…but I have hope, because of your experience. Hugs!
