Love your wildlife collection. We have similar toads , Western Toads, near extinction, that come out at night by the score at The Holler.

I get so tickled at the hopping all over the place and croaking.
Tree Frog. We had one come and stick on our living room window in 2016…we called him boomer for some odd reason. The next year either him…probably another one was back sticking to our window…he or she disappeared and this year one of them came back…to the same window.
Barking squirrel…never heard that term before.
Boomer is a good name for a tree frog. Your window must be a happening place! LOL!
Haven’t you heard a squirrel bark?
No but I’m about to look one up on youtube.
Did you hear one?
Heh, heh, heh… As I was playing the video, Ollie sat straight up, looking for the noise.
LOL… it started to really “bark” in the middle….I never knew
😄 Don’t you have squirrels?
Everywhere! I never heard that…or listened for it
In the middle he or she does bark
I hear it all the time…that and the Carolina Wrens. You should hear them fuss. It can be rather noisy outside.
Maybe I’ve heard it and didn’t know. Our front, back, and both sides of our house are full of them
You’re surrounded! 😆🐿
Hm. You get a chipmunk. My phone doesn’t have a squirrel???🤔🤨
lol….If they organize they rule the world!!!
Yes, they will.
The squirrel is up on the post hiding from the snake, LOL
I guess they don’t like snakes, dead or alive. LOL!
I keep running across dead snakes. I have seen a black snake around the house in the past but, it’s been a while. I’m told by our yard man that we have a copperhead or two in the corner of the yard at the road. YIKES.
Yikes indeed. Those are nothing to play with. Mean as hell from all I’ve heard. I’d get a professional to catch and remove them. I’m sure they’d look great in a zoo… or as a belt. 😀
He claims he killed them. Suits me but, I haven’t seen any body parts.
Copperheads, rattlers, cottonmouths and water moccasins…NASTY creatures. Eek.
Ya Done Well…poor snake.
Frogs are such interesting creatures. I don’t know about barking squirrels though!
They are. They fascinate me.
Squirrels, I find funny…until they destroy infrastructure. When they signal danger, they sound like a small dog barking…to me, anyway.
I did a double-take on the deer ‘standing on the hedge’ 😂 🤣
They blend so well.
Our next door neighbor has one that has taken up residence. She feeds under this woman’s Mulberry tree…in broad daylight. Then, she lays down in her backyard. And, we are in town, not out in the county.
I walked up on a young buck at our dog park/kid park. I got within five feet of him and he just looked at me. Many of them are very tame.
Love the frog photos. They so fascinate me.
I love to chase them.
