Tree Frog. We had one come and stick on our living room window in 2016…we called him boomer for some odd reason. The next year either him…probably another one was back sticking to our window…he or she disappeared and this year one of them came back…to the same window.
Barking squirrel…never heard that term before.

Boomer is a good name for a tree frog. Your window must be a happening place! LOL!
Haven’t you heard a squirrel bark?

I hear it all the time…that and the Carolina Wrens. You should hear them fuss. It can be rather noisy outside.

Maybe I’ve heard it and didn’t know. Our front, back, and both sides of our house are full of them

Frogs are such interesting creatures. I don’t know about barking squirrels though!

They are. They fascinate me.
Squirrels, I find funny…until they destroy infrastructure. When they signal danger, they sound like a small dog barking…to me, anyway.

They blend so well.
Our next door neighbor has one that has taken up residence. She feeds under this woman’s Mulberry tree…in broad daylight. Then, she lays down in her backyard. And, we are in town, not out in the county.
I walked up on a young buck at our dog park/kid park. I got within five feet of him and he just looked at me. Many of them are very tame.
