POTD: Buddy
Going back fifteen years, this is a shot of Buddy, interrupting an exercise routine. This was during my Texas years. He was such a sweet baby and I still miss him. ~Vic

He was my first “baby”. His feral mother had her babies under a mobile home. She moved them but couldn’t reach him. The guy in the home heard meows and retrieved him. Eyes still closed. He bottle fed him, got help from a vet for litterbox training…then brought him to me. He really didn’t have a lifestyle for a pet. He was barely six weeks old and I kept him on soft kitten food. He’d never seen another cat. He was a people cat. He was not cat socialized. Big baby. ❤

Oh! He is so lucky to have found humans that really cared for him. And you were blessed by him.

I should have given a synopsis in my post of how I got him. I just put it in comments, above.

I think more of animals than I do some of the human beings I know. Not all but some lol.

I agree. I’d rather be in the company of a pet than a large portion of society.
