Scary, and spot on. I was in the Peace Corps in the Czech Republic not long after the Soviet Union fell and I used to always ask the old ladies what it was like when the tanks rolled into Prague and it was uncanny for me to always hear a similar sort of reply from them along the lines of: “We had no idea what they were capable of!” But now I see the same thing happening here, and it’s very clear to me what ‘they’ are capable of, and yet most folks are still blindly hoping that everything’s going to be all right if they just do as they are told.

In our case, though, we have the ability to fight back. The 2A is the reason we’ve never been invaded. That being said, our government has been invaded and the perpetrators will attempt to remove our ability to fight back. Rots a ruck.
