That sucks…although they may have found a good home.

          I certainly hope so.

On a side note, I used to get duck eggs delivered from a lady, one town over, west. Her ducks were getting older and their egg laying began to slow. She stopped her deliveries, are tending to her ducks as pets and will begin to travel with her Scottish hubby, whom is a member of a professional Scottish bagpipe band. I want to cry (duck eggs are SO good) but, I totally understand.

Stuart, her hubby, is VERY Scottish and, sometimes, difficult to understand. He didn’t mention being with the Black Watch at one time but, I suspect he was before he came to the US.

                Black Watch…as the Scottish infantry?

I remember that iphone commercial with a Scottish guy…the phone could NOT understand him.

Scottish branch of the British Army, yeah.

                  That sounds vaguely familiar…🤔

At first I thought it was his bagpipe band lol

The way Debra described it, it’s a-kin to a drum & bugle corps. They never miss Grandfather Mountain Highland Games. They are professional.

I know this…they are LOUD. I saw Nazareth and they play them in the middle of Hair of the Dog…it was sooooo loud!

I wonder where they go? I know there’s hunters/disease/old age but I prefer to think it was a job out of town that was the cause 😀

My first blog was called Romeo Rooster. It was about a rooster that moved in and started hanging around with the local ducks.

          Dude…four blogs?

One regular blog, three occasional, and two inactive. I started with Romeo Rooster then moved to WordPress and started Bad Cat Chris and Newly Bent (a cycling blog). I’m not sure which was first as I started them close to the same time. I then started a personal blog and Just Fur Laughs. Somewhere along the way I moved to far away to cycle to work so the cycling blog stopped. I then started a photography blog but haven’t posted much lately.

Beautiful. But sad. We are seeing a decline in different species around here also. 😦

I keep seeing fewer & fewer birds…fewer & fewer bees…fewer & fewer butterflies. TPTB are determined to kill off everything with poisons, Wifi & 5G.

We have almost no wild birds here at all right now except for crows. So bizarre, never seen it like this. Not even many Cardinals, that’s a first. In years past we’ve had dead owls, hawks in our yard! WTF?! Makes me FUMING MAD!!

Yeah. I always hear crows hollering near my bedroom window. It’s kind of a spooky Edgar Allen Poe type dystopian feel…warnings of approaching horrors or something. They are hollering as I type…
