And, it still exists. Many of those late 19th century & early 20th century films are lost.

Again you have one that I never heard of…and that isn’t easy! The Talmadge sisters were huge. A tight family ran by the stage mother of all stage mothers. It was 3 of them…Norma, Constance, and Natalie…Natalie married Buster Keaton and he found out he married the whole damn family. Cut him off at two kids…(thats enough she said) and then got pissed when he started to cheat lol. The mother told her that is enough.

Hey. I dig around on IMDb’s advanced search page. I look for specific dates, on specific years.

You know a lot more about the actors & actresses than I do. I just showcase data.

Have you read books about them or just Internet research?

The Marx Brothers are/were a scream…except maybe Harpo.

LOL…I love Harpo…I tell people…if you just read one bio in your life…read his.
I wasn’t a fan when I read his…same with a book about Clara Bow. I just saw her on the cover and I had to know her….I put her over Drew on my crushes.

The 1920s are close to the 1960s…the women were more liberated and more wildness…until the depression. that put an end to everything.

I can see flappers being similar to the “flower girls.” Peace, love & FUN.

Now, we are 40 years from the dreaded “1984” and things don’t look to be getting any better.

There is also something about an 80 year cycle that we are on now.

I love the three different description of the movie – suspect only one of them actually watched the show.
