Cornus Florida & the North Carolina state flower.
Our only Dogwood tree at the side door.
It is so small but, very cute.

It’s a sweet baby. Since we lost a tall Cedar to the snow, maybe it will get more light & grow bigger. ❤

Yeah. This particular genus likes the Eastern seaboard although, I’m not entirely sure why. Soil, I guess…just like how Azaleas won’t grow, naturally, in Central Texas.
