I did a post on the 100 year anniversary of the ending of WW I back in 2018. I did a post on my Vietnam Veteran in 2019. This year, I’m staying simple. ~Vic
Each branch has their own “bark”, as it were. Marines and Navy SEALs all sound the same. I’m not sure where the Army got “Hooah” from. If the Air Force has a call, I’m not sure what it is. There’s a joke that goes something like this:
Army: Die for your brother soldier.
Marine/Navy: Die for your country.
Air Force: Die for air conditioning.

I love those flowers…and I don’t say that every day. Some of my uncles were in WW2…and I had a neighbor that was in the Special Ops…he was in Saddam’s house…he got a rug and a gun from his house. I didn’t ask how in the hell he got it over here.

No I have not…
Yea he took me fishing at night and we would be doing 50 in his boat at 1am while he had his night vision goggles on…very cool but scary without them.

Simple is beautiful. Thank your Vet for me for his service, please. My son fought in the Saudi War. Freedom is a mighty thing.

It is pretty funny. I had a picture with a list of the sayings but, at the moment, I can’t find it.

Happy Veteran’s Day! I know someone who survived the war but I just got news that he woke up on his holiday sick. Rats!

We’re having a rainy one. We are catching the outer bands of Eta. At least it’s warm.
Which war?

Poppies are sweet things. Ever seen a lavender one?
He was Special Ops. They “connected.”

Nice! It takes some talent to craft guns. Gunsmithing is no easy task.
