For me…I like Christmas because it was the only time of year that my dad, mom, sister, and I would be together in peace. They at least knew to get along on that day after they divorced. I have good memories of it.
I still get excited…

Thanks, Mama. You seem to be living the winter wonderland right now.

It’s melting today. Most of the snow is gone. Who would have thought. 🙂

We apparently have some on the way.

O! GOOD!

Eh. All we’ve gotten is some barely freezing rain. Watching Weather Channel. Tampa is under a tornado warning.

I hope you don’t get tornado’s there! Freezing rain can be a huge hazard. Stay safe.

Yeah. Me, too.
We appear to be holding at 34F. We’ll keep the faucets on drip. As long as the power doesn’t go out, we’re good.

I like the hanging star…very earthy…I can’t help but think of the Blair Witch Project… the things hanging from the trees…but this is a pleasant thing.

I hadn’t thought of that but, yeah. Stuff like that is born out of pagan rituals. The Solstice was their thing this time of year.
Actually, I’m not a big fan of Christmas in general terms. All I see is people fighting over big screen TVs and trampling others for toys.
I’m interested in the upcoming Jupiter/Saturn conjunction.

I haven’t been interested in Christmas since my grandmothers passed.

I can understand that…I lost it for a while until Bailey was born…it then was game on again.

Yeah. No kids for me, so…no magic.
December 19, 2020 at 2:09 PM
Ohhhh…I wish you would catch it. It’s not as strong this year obviously but I’ll be happy when the day gets here.

I get some joy from it. I am posting countdowns.

I’m glad…we are having a good time…it’s just now starting to feel like it
December 19, 2020 at 2:23 PM
I would say it will be better when 2020 is gone but, I’m not seeing that.
