I’m used to the “get arrested for room & food.” My dad & my uncle were both in law enforcement, as well as my significant other. They took many to jail, a-la Otis. They’d get dinner, a bed and breakfast. My small hometown (well, small when I was growing up) didn’t have any homeless shelters back then.
