The Halloween Month 2023

Posted on Updated on

I’m baaaaaaack. I had intended to return right after Labor Day but, my life partner needed my help in healing. He is doing much better. I didn’t think I could return to blogging as I was terrified he would die on me. He is surprisingly resilient…and tough.

All that being expressed, October is my favorite month, as I love Autumn and Halloween. Some folks are Christmas people. I am a pumpkin-head. Ha! Let the spooky games begin. ~Vic

Happy to see your return, even with the hideous pumpkin head.

Thank you, George. I didn’t carve that pumpkin but, I have had fun carving others.

Glad to hear it. Put a smile on my face. I am especially glad to hear your life partner is on the mend. As for Halloween, I have a love/hate relationship with it. I have some fun memories, and then a few nightmarish ones. Still, I love handing treats out to the kids and our part of the street usually has a get-together. Take care.

Glad to make you smile. I have been smiling, too.

I have always had a thing for Halloween. Candy, costumes, parties…all the silliness. And, everyone seems to love scary movies. Plus, October brings on cooler weather and beautiful colors.

I guess nightmares are a part of the Halloween thing…unless you were attacked or something?

He is healing, slowly. He is 80.

      I love Autumn/October.

We have many here…but it’s the 50th anniversary of the movie. It’s a great drama with horror but what a movie.

It hasn’t been all that long ago that I saw the original Exorcist…at least, I think it was the Exorcist. I could be thinking of the original The Omen.

The Omen was good…I liked that one also…but this one I think belongs up there with Citizen Kane type of movie.

Glad to hear your partner is doing better! Probably needless to say at this point but am also a Halloween fanatic…let the hauntings begin.
