Yeah…love the babies. They are fairly tame around here. I’ve lost count how many times I have nearly walked into a herd of them on the Riverwalk. You can’t get close enough to pet one but, I’ve been within a few feet of a young buck that seemed as fascinated with me as I was with him. You may remember…

It’s possible. There are Hereford & Angus, all over the place. I live in an old, small town, surrounded by farms. Well…relatively “old”…I suppose (in comparison to the UK). This town sits on an ancient Native American trading path. It’s also the same town where the Regulators were hanged, just prior to the Revolutionary War. I may have told you all of this?

No, think you mentioned regulators before told me stuff related, not that though. Sounds fab… lot of history 😊

Ray & I were certainly surprised. Of course, we run into them all the time on the Riverwalk.

They routinely wander thru our front yard. We are across the street from the river.

We have groups of them going through our yard. One was a 3 legged deer for years that I called “Lucky” but it could keep up and jump like the rest.
