We wanted one of these…or a split level but never could find one for sale that already wasn’t bid on.
I do like the Victorians but the Colonials…while I like them…they have small box rooms

We could have bought a Colonial on a golf course for 150,000…I wish we would have….it’s worth a fortune now.
Something about those houses I really like…the split level…they scream seventies

The rooms were too boxy…and small. We looked at several.
Jennifer has a good line on a job…$20 an hour but no insurance…but she will get something independently.
Does it come with orange countertops? Running joke with Linda. Our first house had orange countertops and we always referred to it as the Brady Kitchen ha.

This one looks like one of those modern `1970s designs! I love those.

I lived across the street from one of those with the odd angles. I lean more towards Victorians, Queen Anns or a really cool tree house.

They do have smaller rooms, where Victorians usually have bigger rooms & tall ceilings.
My mom & dad looked at a few split levels when they were house hunting when I was little. Splits were usually more expensive than “Ranch” boxes.

Oh, yeah. I thought they were cool, too.
So, why didn’t you buy the Colonial?

Built by kids. The parents indulged in the spirits…I would guess and giggled with the kids, eating the supplies. Just what I would imagine…

Those 70s houses were odd things. I did like split-levels.
