We had gingerbread cake with Bluebell Peppermint Bark Ice Cream this afternoon. Still eating Tums. I do know The Muffin Man.

We have a local couple that are fantastic bakers. Every Christmas, we get Scottish Gingerbread, Lebkuchen (German molasses cookies), chocolate-pepermint cookies and the most unbelievable cinnamon buns. Make you wanna slap your great aunt…

Ah. Bluebell. I remember that. The peppermint is good for you…aides in digestion. All the chocolate, ice cream and additives, not so much.

Your Muffin Man would have brought you English muffins, not the cakey, sugary ones.

Try some peppermint tea. It is wonderful.

I wonder if sometimes they are just too good looking to eat.

Some are true art pieces. They might could shellac them and save them…or, just take lots of pictures and munch.
