We have come to the end of the Christmas Countdown journey. I hope everyone enjoyed my posts. The very last house is noted as Reindeer Manor but, I don’t see any Reindeer. Oh, well. Have a grand New Year’s Eve and I will see you next year. ~Vic

Another quite elaborate structure. Perhaps the idea was to imagine a place where the reindeer would like to hang out after all their hard work for Santa! 🙂
Nice to meet you. Every once in a while I get back into wordpress and catch up with old friends and meet new ones and new blogs. It cheers me up that some people still write in them!

I have been blogging, on & off since 2009. I abandoned my blog for four years (no direction) and picked it back up in June 2018. I rebuilt it and started over. I battle WP, sometimes. The “happiness engineers” jack with code too much to suit me. I am constantly talking to WP help for bugs that constantly show up. I am a former web programmer and an old mainframe programmer in my early years. I’ve also managed databases, too. I’ve forgotten more than I remember. They use PHP, which I never used, with Javascript & CSS, which I have used… a long time ago. Now…I just dabble and showcase some of my photography.
I think their main jobs are to make pieces of the site obsolete so they can be employed ‘fixing’ tor replacing hem. Some jobs in data management seem to involve kicking a working machine until it doesn’t work too well and then ‘repairing’ it. If you can tell me how to access all info about data that akismet has messed with/deleted/blocked/opined on, and hoe to set it directly never to mess with it again on my site, I’d appreciate it.

Sorry. I have never cracked open akismet. Can’t help.
I never kicked a working machine but, I have certainly strung some things together to get two pieces of software to cooperate. Things seemed to run smoother with less sophisticated programs. I am a big advocate of simplicity.
Java Bean: “Ayyy, perhaps the reindeer are all off playing their reindeer games?”
Lulu: “If that were it then Rudolph should still be around somewhere though.”
Charlee: “Happy New Year!”

Good for them! They look better than the house I live in now, although the sugar is perhaps equivalent–best wishes for happy new year.

I agree. Plank plus nail plus hammer can be much more viable than higher-tech!

Good point, Bean but, they might just be in the house playing video games.
Lulu, I suspect Rudolph is on the couch with the rest of the reindeer.
Happy New Year, Charlee. My Ollie says so, too. *meow*
