Shutterbug Saturday: Feathers 5.0

Posted on Updated on

I used to add a corresponding photo from Unsplash or Pexels up at the top as a lead-in. I have enough photos of my own so, I won’t be doing that anymore. My previous posts, I will leave them. All photos are my personal collection. © ~Vic

Perfect bird shots! And houses! We don’t have either bird here that I know of…some day I am coming to visit!

Your area probably has Rock Wrens that we don’t see.

Northern Cardinals are pretty much Eastern Seaboard & Eastern Canada but, I have seen them in Texas.

You may get Desert Cardinals that we don’t have and Hepatic Tanagers. All the Tanagers have been reclassified as Cardinals.

Come on for a visit…assuming states don’t begin to lockdown borders.

Wonderful series of shots, Vic! That is a very cool house for a wren’s nest! More square footage! 😅

I wish mine were as clear as yours. I can only do so much with a camera phone. The zoom is terrible. The upside is, I can make a shot look like Monet or a Renoir. 😁

Those little buggers…they will nest in anything. We have to be sure to close our mailbox on the wall at the front door. I’ve had them nest in a wreath.

      Thank you, love. 🤗💕

I hear ya’. Predator & prey, tho… You could be something’s lunch.

I sat down to send you an email last night (early morning, actually) and got lost down a rabbit hole of pictures. I saved the draft at least…*facepalm*

*sigh* I can’t find anything if I can’t get it organized. I am the human version of a worker bee…not the Queen. I’m busy tidying up my honeycomb…into the wee hours of the morning. 🐝😵😴

Emails do take longer. And, my CT group is slamming me with emails. We have a 20-something kid in Murmansk, Russia, that is a chatterbox. Former Russian military…we get all the good scoop on that country.

No worries. We will get to things when we get to them.
