I spent my day running errands, enjoying walking the Riverwalk and getting my beloved Mum collection. When I walked out of the house at Noon, the temperature was 72°. I love this time of year. I just wish the mosquitoes would go away, already. ~Victoria

    The glory of floral creation.

Thank you very much. I’ve been a camera nut since I was a ‘tween’. My picture collection is quite extensive.

      Sit for a shot
You may like it, or not
      Pose if you wish
      No one will dish
      Smile for the ‘eye’
      It’s over…*sigh*
      A moment…captured
      A photographer’s rapture…

    My oldest bro
    went professional,
    so your cute poem
    struck a chord
    in my suppressed
    childhood recollection
    of being subjected
    to much photographic
    … humiliation.
    Thanks Victoria, once again.

    No fear, Victoria.
    Since it’s National
    Mad Hatter’s Day,
I’ll soon get over it 😂.

    Aren’t mosquitoes just the worst?
It looks like great walking scenery.

I love our Riverwalk. It is actually a segment of the ‘Mountains to the Sea’ trail:

The mosquitoes have been particularly bad this year. It has been a wet year from the Snow Bomb in January to the rainy spring to Florence. OY.

Looks so beautiful and peaceful. I love fall, the crisp air, the colors.

Meeeeeee, tooooooo! I am also looking forward to the end of DST…the most unnatural time shift in the history of humanity. Talk about f****** up circadian rhythms… I’m already NOT a morning person & this crap just makes it worse. Pick a damn time & stick with it!

Our Riverwalk is really, really neat. It runs by our local market, ties into a cute dog park and connects with one of the oldest, original NASCAR dirt track speedways. It shut down in 1968 but, everything remains…bleachers, podium, announcer’s booth, some old cars… It is a well cared for track and runners visit it, daily.
