FFTD: Azaleas
Azaleas are usually Springtime visitors. Some of them, well, they are the late bloomers. This is a small bush on the First Baptist church property. ~Vic

Flower for the Day
FFTD: Tulips & Narcissus
A companion piece to an earlier post, the white Narcissus is a beautiful contrast. The telephone pole, not so much. I still don’t remember where the pix were taken. ~Vic

Flower for the Day
FFTD: Yellow
I think this is a Wingstem or Yellow Ironweed (Verbesina Alternifolia). If I am wrong, y’all speak up. ~Vic

Flower for the Day
FFTD: Royal Blue
I will have to figure this one out, later. ~Vic
Update:
After much digging, I found this to be a Salvia Guaranitica or Hummingbird Sage.

Flower for the Day
FFTD: White Narcissus
This was a nice find on an evening walk. I’d never seen a solid white one, before. ~Vic

Flower for the Day
FFTD: Bright Yellow
I haven’t a clue what kind of flower this is but, I will dig around and see what I can find.
Update:
This looks very much like a Forsythia. ~Vic

Flower for the Day
FFTD: Mums
This is a Chrysanthemum that I planted back in 2014. It must have been very happy where I put it because it was huge two years later. It finally gave up the next year. ~Vic

Flower for the Day
FFTD: Narcissus
These beauties have their own timetable. They bloom early, even when it is still cold…or snowing, no less. They are quite happy underneath Mr. Sugar Maple. ~Vic

Flower for the Day
FFTD: Porch Pink
I snapped this at my friend’s house with my old flip phone. It was trying its best to grow up on the porch. I have no idea what it is…other than pretty pink. ~Vic
Update:
Thanks to another blogger, this is a Maiden’s Blush Old Rose.

Flower for the Day
FFTD: Flowering Dogwood
Cornus Florida & the North Carolina state flower.

It is so small but, very cute.
