FFTD: Candytuft
I have no idea what this is. If anyone does, speak up. ~Vic
Update: Thanks to Max at Powerpop Blog, I got my answer. This is an Iberis Sempervirens or an Evergreen Candytuft. Thanks, Max!

POTD: Cute Mailbox
We have a town full of artists, of all kinds. I found another interesting mailbox on my afternoon walk, yesterday. This would be a companion piece to the Colorful Mailbox post. ~Vic

POTD: Cute Church
I’m not sure if this is a bird house that someone put on the ground, temporarily or if it is just a piece of yard art. It’s lovely either way. ~Vic

FFTD: Grape Hyacinth
I had intended to post my museum pictures but, I’ve been too busy. I thought this might be a Bluebell but, it isn’t. I’m still trying to identify it. ~Vic
Update:
It’s a Grape Hyacinth!

Flower for the Day
POTD: Colorful Mailbox
Out on a neighborhood walk, I couldn’t help but admire the mosaic handywork, along with the bird and flower. It’s definitely an original. ~Vic

FFTD: A Dandy Lion
They are all over my yard. They are so happy. This one is from last year. ~Vic

Flower for the Day
POTD: Old Hydrant
This comes under the heading of “things you don’t see everyday.” I was out on a walk around our old cotton mill complex and stumbled across it. I have no idea how old this thing is but, it appears to have been manufactured in Tennessee. ~Vic

FFTD: Hellebore
Early blooming Hellebores. My leap year submission. The next one will have to wait for 2024. ~Vic

POTD: First Snow 2020
As I was posting last weekend of no snow this year, I spoke too soon. We got about three inches, yesterday. It started rolling in around 4:30 or 5:00pm. There is a little bit left but, the higher accumulations were east of here. ~Vic

FFTD: Prickly Beast
These things are pretty to look at but, you don’t want to step on one of them, barefooted. I’m always reminded of the Return of the Jedi sand monster Sarlacc. ~Vic

POTD: All Seeing Eye
This was propped up against a building in downtown, about two blocks from my house. I was out for an afternoon walk and it was an unusual sight. It’s no longer there and I have no idea who it belonged to, who put it there or…where it went. I found it creepy but, took a picture of it, anyway. ~Vic
